Data Visualization and Community Feedback Survey - August 12 and 13, 2025

We have integrated the powerful open-source JavaScript library Chart.js to create dynamic, interactive charts (such as line charts, bar charts, pie charts, and area charts) for visualizing core data on pickful. This will help us better manage and present community insights.

We are thrilled to share how we are enhancing data visualization to elevate your pickful experience and our commitment to building a community-owned, co-created consensus network. Below are the updates rolled out on August 12 and 13, 2025:

Key Update Highlights
  1. Introduction of Chart.js for Data Visualization
    • We have integrated the powerful open-source JavaScript library Chart.js to create dynamic, interactive charts (such as line charts, bar charts, pie charts, and area charts) for visualizing core data on pickful. This will help us better manage and present community insights.

    • Currently, data from the following models (tables) has been statistically analyzed and visualized:
      • User: Tracking total registered users, active user counts, and account creation trends.
      • Post: Analyzing daily post counts, popular post statistics, and post update frequencies.
      • Like: Calculating total likes, user interaction rates, and like distribution patterns.
      • Tag: Displaying the frequency of common tags and the number of posts associated with each tag.
      • PointTransaction: Recording points earned and spent, reflecting the effectiveness of community incentive mechanisms.
      • ShortUrl: Monitoring short link generation volume and click-through rates to assess sharing effectiveness.
      • Referral: Tracking referred user counts and successful conversion rates to understand community growth.
      • Follow: Analyzing the number of follow relationships and the density of the user social network.
    • This data is currently displayed in the admin backend, providing valuable insights for our product and operational teams to improve platform features and optimize user experience.

  2. WeChat Accessibility Update
    • Recently, WeChat blocked access to beta.pickful.ai. To address this, we enabled pickful.ai and www.pickful.ai over the past two days. Now, everyone can access pickful directly through pickful.ai in the WeChat browser, ensuring uninterrupted community engagement.

  3. Addition of Baidu Verify File and Site Management Tools
    • To boost our visibility in the Chinese market, we have added a Baidu verify file. This enables us to use Baidu’s webmaster tools to manage site indexing and track click-through rates, ensuring better accessibility for users searching via Baidu.

Community Data Openness Survey
pickful is dedicated to building a community-owned, co-created consensus network. We want to know which data the website should open to the community to promote collective growth and progress. Yes, we plan to make some data available to the community soon, even though the current dataset is limited. We believe that “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” Here are some potential data types for your feedback:
  • User engagement (e.g., active user counts, post interaction data).
  • Community content overview (e.g., tag usage patterns, post publication trends).
  • Social interaction data (e.g., follow relationships, like statistics).
  • Any other data you think could benefit community development.
