Pickful's major update today: The short post editor has been upgraded to Lexxy, featuring a cleaner toolbar and more comfortable formatting. Search speed is now 10 times faster, supporting full-text field searches and smart sorting. Synchronized across all three platforms—no upgrade needed. Today we rolled out a major upgrade focused on writing, searching, and accessibility!
Lexxy Editor Upgrade
- Short posts now use the new #Lexxy editor (replacing Trix) for a smoother, faster writing experience
- Cleaner toolbar: only the image upload button remains, moved to the bottom-left for a more minimal look
- Better default layout: starts with 3 lines visible + tighter line spacing for a more comfortable reading and editing feel
App Download Entry Improvements
- Post detail pages now show a clear download prompt + QR code for non-app users (iOS / Android / APK)
- Added a prominent gradient App button in the menu bar – super easy to jump to the download page
Search Performance Boost
- Search is now 10x faster thanks to #PostgreSQL tsvector pre-calculation + GIN indexes
- Searches cover more: titles, tags, summaries, full body, authors, and Post codes
- Smarter ranking: title/tag matches rank higher, body matches follow – results are more relevant than ever
All changes are live on Web, iOS, and Android — no #app update required!
